Aleia did NOT fall in the volcano!
Hi my blogger followers.
Hope life is going well for each of you! And if you think your life is bad, just think about how bad your life would be if you fell into a volcano... yea... life´s looking pretty good now in´it?
Well, I "hiked" Vólcan Masaya the other day. I say hiked because we took a van most the way, and then I climbed some stairs. Worth it! This is an active volcano people, and I gotta admit... I´m impressed with myself for not falling in. It was hard to overcome, but I took the challenge, and then I smashed it with my fisticles! New word, feel free to pass it on.
Anyway, I had my spanish interview today, and I will find out what level I am at on Monday. Also, our PC training staff bought us pizza at a lecture last week, and I thought I was going to faint. You´d be surprised how much a simple slice of pizza goes. That reminds me. MOM: I am going to request that when I come back home in a year/year and 1/2, I would like to go to Olive Garden.... I know, shocker.
Attached are some pictures of the volcano, a mural that was in the museum upon entering the volcano, some of the trainees (shout out!) on the bus, me and some amigos, and Dave looking into the pit of hel..uh.. the volcano. Don´t worry, he didn´t jump.
Love to all,
Aleia

Hey Aleia....Great group and volcano pictures. Not falling in gets you 100 bonus 'PC' points. Paperwork would be a super 'B' to fill out. So the 80's music rules there. You can now appear super-super smart by telling them what is coming up the music ladder for them. Hear you got a local cell phone. Keep it close and well charged. Guard your limited minutes like they are gold. How are you and the humidity getting along? When you get back, so to the 'Islands' restaurant. It is great. Wish we had one near our little town. Are you sleeping ok? Loved the 'little dancer' pictures. Great stuff!!! Be sweet and take care always. LOVE YOU....gp Mike

ReplyDeleteAll is well in CS and we think of you often.

Hey Friendo! Hey what's your address? I want to send you a book.
ReplyDeleteI, for one, am SOOOOOOO glad you did NOT fall into the valcano! I plan to go to Nicaragua, but not for some goofy reason like that! Olive Garden you say...we will see! (I know that is your favorite saying of mine!) Looks like a fun group of smiles with you, but wait was that after the pizza? That would explain a lot! Keep having fun learning and sharing your special self with others. Love you! MOM
ReplyDeleteGrandpa Mike - Yes I am like a musical genius.. 3 decades ahead and all. The humidity is alright... can´t complain. And Islands is totally delicious! You can take me there when I get back ;)
ReplyDeleteGrandma Glo - Thinking of you too. Love you!
Adam - I have a post on here with my address, but I will send it to you on FB.
Mom - yes, that would be a not so fun reason to visit nicaragua haha. and no this picture was a different day than the pizza haha! Love you!
You pretty much have the coolest life ever but occasionally cool things happen to me as well. For example the following:
ReplyDeletei came home to an exstatic (yes im aware this is a mispelling) maggie after shopping on monday and couldnot figure out why she was hopping up and down so much; however her gestures made it clear that the cause of her behavior was ocurring in my bedroom. Sure enough Jimbo found a way to roll himself up in a sheet, blanket and another sheet and was panicking under the covers unable to get himself free. Maggie continued going crazy and i laughed so hard i peed..i never did make it to the kitchen so i could grab my phone and record the episode. after 2 minutes of poor jimbos struggling i inhaled enough air to let the little guy out. Probably the funniest thing that's happened to me since the last time you did something funny.
Love u sis. keep on keepin on :D
Aleia can I go to Olive Garden too? I promise to be good, and be nice; just as long as I get that sweet deliciousness that is Olive garden!
ReplyDeleteKK - I am laughing in the cyber cafe right now and all the Nicas probably think I´m a nutter. Thanks for sharing the magicness of Jimbo´s stupidity with me. Love you.
ReplyDeleteAmanda - you can go, but if you take the last breadstick... uh uh. =)
